Liked: it is very friendly and absolutly clean. the staff helps out very good.

Disliked: everything is very nice, but i dont like that you cant lock the doors of the rooms.

Liked: Probably the best hostel I've stayed in in south America, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the common room is very laid back and relaxed, there's books with all the info on activities in Bariloche and also guest comments which we found very helpful. The dorm rooms and bathrooms were clean. All in all a very well thought out hostel.

Disliked: Our only compliant was the noise from the property next door in the small hours of the mornings was very annoying but nothing earplugs couldn't help.

Liked: The staff were great, and the hostel had a great vibe about it, very good location aswell

Disliked: When we stayed there was an israeli "party" next door, i think they have a hostel there, so being Israelis they didnt shut up all night - until 5am, so didnt sleep and left the same morning, shame because i think its a good hostel, just a shame its next to puto Israelis!

Liked: Friendly and really helpful staff helped make a lovely atmosphere (what´s important in a hostel), great Christmas party, very chilled out.

Disliked: Wifi was poor. Staff said it was the whole of Bariloche but it worked fine at the internet cafe down the road. Music collection was limited. Dorms a bit dingy.

Liked: A really cool hostel in town. Small and character filled. The staff are rather pleasant and will offer you plenty of advice. Kitchen is a bit small but you can still cook a good feed. It is a small hostel, but that means you actually get to know other travellers.

Disliked: Nada, zero, zilch.

Liked: Believe all you have read - all up one of the better places you will come across. Great homely atmosphere, nice size and vibe, decent breakfast, right in the heart of town, top quality advice on offer from friendly helpful staff.

Disliked: Nothing really springs to mind.

Liked: I LOVE HOSTEL 41 BELOW!!! Im actually pretty critical when it comes to hostels, but there is not one thing that I would change here. Or maybe a bigger breakfast (cornflakes, croissant and coffee), but breakfast really isnt very big in any hostels we stayed in. The staff is very friendly, the kitchen and dorms are very good and the atmosphere here is fantastic. The living room is very relaxed with sofas and a lovely big table, which brings the hostel a social athmosphere. The surroundings are incredible, fantastic view and close to one small and one big supermarket. I would DEFINOTELY recommend this hostel - best hostel we tried.

Liked: really good atmosphere and the staff make it very easy for you to find activities to do. good kitchen facilities and a really good breakfast.

Disliked: nowhere to get dressed after a shower.

Liked: Has everything you would expect from a really good hostel. It's in a perfect location close to the main bus stops and the town centre. The rooms, cleaned daily, have comfortable beds and secure, good-sized lockers. The spotless bathrooms always have piping hot water and the small, well-equipped kitchen has very thoughtfully organised storage for guests' food. A simple breakfast is included, there's wi-fi, a free computer for guests without a laptop, a book exchange, dvd library and tv. There's also a large collection of guidebooks and several notebooks where previous guests have left comments / suggestions / advice for things to do in and around Bariloche. The large, warm comfortable communal area is a great place to meet other travellers. But what really puts 41 Below way above similarly well equipped hostels is the staff. Without exception they're charming, friendly, helpful and very, very knowledgeable. They don't just answer your questions, they volunteer extra information you didn't realise you needed. Unreservedly recommended.

Liked: Overall a really good hostel. Just a couple of recommendations if the owner ever checks this out: a) cold milk would be better for the cereal at breakfast and b) it´s a shame they try to make money off the rechargeable bus cards. A hostel in Mendoza loans their cards out for free but takes a refundable deposit - return the card and it´s free, lose it and the hostel has the cash to replace it. These are only minor gripes though.

Liked: Great location and friendly staff. Place is nice with cozy rooms and great heating. Has many options of activities to do and is organized. Kitchen is fantastic and well equipped. Emilia is even helping me get back something I forgot at the hostel, sending it via bus. What can I say? Great staff and place!

Disliked: Old pc with no usb, but has wifi! The girls bathroom was just ok.
