Liked: The staff are very informative on all the options av in the region and can help book trios etc at same prices as outside

Disliked: The knob in the bathroom shower in room 2 would not work well so sometimes it is difficult to get the shower to work well as it gushes more with limited flow of only hot water

Liked: Very friendly staff, good common areas, good kitchen. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm with an ensuite, very nice.

Liked: Really nice building with big lockers and a good sized chill out space.

Disliked: Our room wasnt cleaned the 3 days I was there but this could have been because a guy was always sleeping in the dorm during the day. Still, the bathroom got abit messy considering 4 ppl were using the facilities.

Liked: Absolutely GORGEOUS hostel with good facilities and really lovely, friendly staff. One of the absolute best I have ever stayed in. I met a lot of people here and we had nice cook-ups in the big kitchen.

Disliked: Nothing, this place is amazing!

Liked: Staff were generally helpful and friendly. Our room was quite nice and had lots of natural light

Disliked: I think that section of the hostel had just been built and there was saw dust all over the place

Liked: The hostel occupies a wonderful wooden building fairly close to the centre, with excellent rooms and comfy beds. The common areas are what makes it though: huge wooden tables, lots of soft seats, nice kitchen. It's so easy to meet new people there.

Disliked: The staff who welcomed us seemed rather distant. They didn't seem particularly interested in us and didn't smile. Still, I didn't let that distract from a great couple of days!

Liked: Great Breakfast, clean and comfy beds with ensuite bathrooms in each room. Friendly staff, really sociable.

Liked: Marco at reception very good. Rooms good. Big lockers for each bed. Each bed has a bedside lamp which is good. Playstation for the boys too. Overall standard good hostel. Nothing special but good, Would stay again, and met some really cool people.

Disliked: Kitchen a bit too cramped when everyone trying to cook. Otherwise fine though. Breakfast SUCKS - piece of bread and some butter or jam or dulche de leche.

Liked: The hostel staff are lovely and always available to answer any questions, the beds are super comfy and the location is awesome, very easy to get into town.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Good location, really friendly and helpful staff. Helped us book all the activities and provided all the bus times and great info. Nice atmosphere in the hostel. Kitchen was excellent.

Disliked: Garden was in the process of being renovated. It still had a bbq there though.

Liked: Great location, friendly staff, decent sized rooms all with their own bathroom, sturdy bunks, large lockers, two computers for guest use, and plenty of info on activities in the area.

Disliked: If I could change one thing about Periko's it would be the water pressure which is low. At the time of writing, the building is under construction so if you like to sleep in or take a siesta you may want to inquire about this. But if you're up and out for trekking by 8 you won't even notice it.

Liked: Really nice atmosphere, big relaxing area, lots of dinner options for everybody!!

Liked: Great central location close to bars, restaurants, bus stops and a supermarket. Rooms were very clean and cozy with wood panelling.

Disliked: Garden was a building site, but guess it will be great when its finished and the shower was very small.
