UPPER FLOOR
The upper floor has three rooms with a bathroom for each one. The capacity of the rooms are two, four and six persons.
MIDDLE FLOOR
You walk into the middle floor from the mainentrance of the house. Here you will find a big kitchen fully equiped with anything you need to cook, and a big refrigerator to store your food.
You´ll also find another bathroom, laundry, dinningroom, livingroom, TV, internet and a balcony for the smokers; you can´t smokeinside the house.
LOWER FLOOR
Downstairs we have two big dormitory rooms with a capacity of six persons. There´s a bathroom and BBQ where you can make and enjoy tipical Argentine meat and right outside this room you can safely park your car in the outside patio.In all the rooms you´ll find clean sheets, pillows and comforters and the hot water runs 24 hours.
The hostel is located on the corner of Elflein and Palacios. It is two blocks from Bariloche's main street, four blocks up from the Nahuel Huapi lake and five blocks from the main square called "Centro Civico".
From the Bus Station: Local buses number 20 and 10, get off on Moreno and Rolando, which is two block from the hostel ). The bus is $ 1,3 pr. person.
A cab to the house costs about $ 7.
From the Airport: Airlinebusses leave after every arriving flight. Get off at Palacios and Moreno, one blocks from the hostel.
With your own car: Follow the oneway Moreno street till you reach Villegas, where you turn left till you find Elflein (one block up). Turn left again on Elflein. The hostel is located two blocks up on the lefthand side.

We offer 3 different kinds of courses. Have a look which course you would like to join.
If you choose the standard course or the emergency travelling course, which comprises of lessons in the morning, you will also have a change to join your friends and other students in the program in the afternoon. Afternoons will be spent practising what you have learned in the mornings using real life situations. We will also give you an introduction into the wonderful culture of this fascinating country.
We recommend that you choose one of our programs. However should you wish to book your lessons and accommodation separately that is possible. The programs reflect the most popular combinations.
THE COURSES
EMERGENCY TRAVEL COURSE
Goal:
To build up knowledge in a short period, so you will be able to travel around more easily in South America and in other Spanish speaking countries.
Why choose this co urse?
South America is becoming more and more popular for travellers and backpackers. With Brazil being the exception, the first language of all the countries in South America is Spanish. In order to enjoy your trip fully and to cope with any problems en route, a basic knowledge of Spanish is a must. You will get so much more out of your trip if you can communicate with the local people. You will find that local people really appreciate it when you make an effort to speak their language.
Duration of this course:
You can choose a course lasting either 1 week or 2 weeks
Method of teaching:
The Emergency Travel Course focuses on speaking and listening. We will teach you the necessary vocabulary to help you on your travels.
STANDARD COURSE
Goal:
To build up a good general knowledge of Spanish from a basic to a more advanced level.
Why choose this course?
Spanish is becoming a very popular language to learn. You may wish to learn it for your work and/or for pleasure and travelling. The best way to learn any modern language is to study it in a country where it is spoken. This course will take you to an advanced level should you choose that option.
Duration of the course:
Anything between 2 and 8 weeks
Method of teaching:
This course will cover all aspects of language learning (speaking, listening, reading and writing skills). We will teach you how to build your knowledge of grammar and vocabulary in a progressive and structured way. Soon you will be able to have conversations and read simple articles. We will also look at the current news. In total the program consists 8 levels (beginner (2), Intermediate (4), Advanced (2)).
FLEXI-COURSE
Goal:
To build up a knowledge of Spanish, in a manner of you choosing. You can choose the number of hours, the dates and your chosen requirements for the course.
Why choose this course?
You may not be able or wish to join one of the standard courses for one of many reasons:
- You may want private lessons
- You may wish to study in a class comprising of you and your friends only
- You may wish to study for a shorter or greater duration per week than the standard course provide
- Monday may not suit you as the day on which your tuition begins
The Flexi-program is designed to teach you according to your needs and requirements.
Duration of the course:
Any number of hours per week subject to a minimum of 10 hours in total.
Method of teaching:
We will design the program before you arrive and adjust it according to any feedback from you.
AFTERNOON PROGRAM
There will also be an opportunity to join your friends and other students in the program in the afternoon. Afternoons will be spent practising what you have learned in the mornings using real life situations. We will also give you an introduction into the wonderful culture of this fascinating country.
