Liked: We had the double room with private bathroom and mini kitchen in the attic. It was a great room for relaxing when the weather wasn't great, and it was useful being able to make some of our own food in the little kitchen and store ingredients in our own fridge. Owner was super helpful - he even lent us his own money one day to save us a trip into town. Kitchen and living areas are nice, kitchen is spacious and well stocked with equipment and basic ingredients.

Disliked: Location was great for us as we were doing Spanish lessons at the Bariloche Spanish School just down the road, however it was a bus ride from town and it was difficult to get cash without going into town. You are slightly closer to Llao Llao and some trailheads, but you will be taking a bus to most places (sometimes irregular and infrequent). Not generally a problem but good to be aware of this.

Liked: Really friendly and helpful staff and a great communal and kitchen area.

Disliked: A little way out of town so you have to get a bus to get anywhere.

Liked: We loved the location as it was just outside of the town center, opposite the public beach and close to many of the walking trails. We rented the double room on the top floor (affectionately known as the penthouse) and its wonderful view of the lake is spectacular.

Liked: absolutly NOTHING

Disliked: the service was bad! when we tried to talk to the workers there about the lake view and the water they answered back "you people allwayes have complaines"... the place is very expensive comparing to other places that are much better and located at the center.

Liked: Excellent hostel, Thomas and Brian did everything to make our stay easy and enjoyable, thanks guys!!!

Disliked: Dorms are a bit tight but clean and comfy with lockers.

Liked: Rooms cleaned daily. Free pick up from the bus station

Disliked: Not 24 hour reception, my friend sat outside the hostel for 2 hours ringing the bell trying to get in at 3am. When eventually let in, the owner had a go at her for waking people. The staff were rude and unhelpful. The bedrooms are tiny, not enough space for everyones backpacks. Only one female toilet for the whole property (2 showers) Not close to town and buses sometimes dont turn up for half an hour

Liked: Everything. The owner Brian is lovely, always on hand to help you out. Kitchen facilities are outstanding. Views are amazing. Perfect hostel, perfect people, perfect location.

Liked: Very Cool Hostel. Has an excellent living/kitchen/dining area. Good rooms with heating! Showers and bathrooms are the best i have seen. 10 out of 10. Brian the owner was excellent, very helpful and befriended us immediately, explained when and where is good. Location good if you are here for the excursions (a little out of the town - which was good for us) And a massive thank you Brian for telling us about the water fall in the National Park - was a brilliant day out. Liked: This is a great place to stay! It feels like being at home. The staff is very helpful and nice. Fantastic common rooms, great kitchen to cook and it was definitely no problem that the hostel isn´t in the centre. The places of interest aren´t in the centre anyway. Very clean!

Disliked: Too bad we couldn´t stay longer..

Liked: 4km out of the centre but only a 2 minute walk to the bus stop. Really kind and helpful owners. Would definitely return as the setting is beautiful.

Liked: This is a loveley hostel that is well arranged clean and fun. It is an easy place to make friends, has a beautiful view and is only a short hop from the centre of town on the bus... A must for anyone who wants a chilled and fun place.
