Liked: The staff was friendly, professional and everything was perfect for me and my spouse. It was very clean, great location and would definetely stay there again.

Liked: It was extremely clean...very good position...friendly staff. Poor breakfast but ok: just a croissant and a juice...anyway it's quite cheap to eat something in Tirana. Had a nice time here.

Disliked: Quite confusing at arrival due to reception at freddy's hostel and then moving to another residence nearby...sounds a cheat but is not.

Liked: It is a very worthy accomodation for a big city. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. However it's much similar to a hotel than to a hotel, but this is good when you need a rest during your trip. The breakfast is a nice surprise, but it would be better if it is included a coffee too. It is in the city of the center and you can easily park your car in front of the building without many problems.

Disliked: The owner is very helpful and nice, maybe too much. It can be so helpful that it could make you feel quite uncomfortable. Our Internet connection did not work.

Liked: Bunch of apartments run by a nice guy, well maintained, clean & very secure. Close to the main square of tirana and many services are in walking distance. WiFi, hot water no problems.

Disliked: Don't expect to meet other travelers as there is no common space, breakfast is very basic & not so nice.

Liked: We booked a triple room at Loreni and as we were trying to find our way, passing freddy's hostel a man shouted out to us and it turned out that we were actually staying at Freddys (all owned by the same family). This hostel was fine. The man on arrival was really welcoming - perhaps almost too much so, wanting to take photos with us straight away which was almost a little awkward but think in line with good albanian hospitality. They reccommended a great little local eating spot too. The breakfast was okay - an expresso and packaged crossiant which you have on the couch infront of reception - we got a bit of a giggle out of this. Was pretty standard hostel with freindly staff. Good internet access.

Disliked: Included above- no great dislikes!

Liked: It's part of a flat in a grand and colourful apartment block bang in the middle of the city, and just behind the massive museum. Nice balconies, free TV and wi-fi and you get a bag of breakfast hung on your door handle every morning!

Disliked: They come in and clean and tidy up every day. Some folks might like this, but I've always found it a little invasive as you don't always want people moving your stinky old travelling socks about!

Liked: More like apartments than a traditional hostel, which was perfect for us. The owner was very very friendly and helpful, and even took us out for a beer that night. We had a really nice stay here and would recommend it to anyone staying in Tirana.

Liked: GREAT LOCATION, FRIENDLY HELPFUL STAFF, CLEAN PRIVATE ROOM.

Disliked: IT IS A LITTLE CONFUSING, BE AWARE THAT FREDDYS HOSTEL OWNS THREE HOSTELS AND IT IS THE MAIN OFFICE, SO YOU HAVE TO GO TO FREDDYS TO CHECK IN. THE STAFF THERE ARE LOVELY BUT UNDERSTAND LITTLE ENGLISH SO JUST BE PATIENT AS THEY CONACT FREDDY OR HIS BROTHERS TO HELP YOU, IT ALL WORKS OUT IN THE END!

Liked: Firstly, the location is fantastic - just behind a main street (so quiet) yet 50m to the Skanderberg Sq. The place is actually a converted flat in a newly-built block of flats - v.clean, safe, convenient and easy to use. The hosts were very friendly and helpful (gave advice on places to eat, changed money for us, etc.). There are restaurants/cafes all around (even at the bottom of the block). The room was quite spacious with balcony and air-conditioning and the bathroom clean (the room was cleaned every day) and modern. They even gave us a small breakfast every morning.

Disliked: None - for you stay in Tirana it's like having a very nice hotel room for hostel prices.

Liked: 3 brothers, each of them runs a hostel in Tirana. Super helpful, super friendly, super clean place.

Disliked: Internet was extremely slow.

Liked: We actually stayed at Oresti hostel (the owner of Loreni and Oresti hostels are brothers) but that was fine because we wanted to stay here anyway! Oresti was great, really clean, private, quiet, great location. It's not a party place, but as another reviewer said, there's plenty of those in Tirana! Was perfect for me and my boyfriend and I would definitely stay there again.

Liked: The owner was great. He even went to the effort of driving us to the airport himself at 4am on a Sunday morning. That's real dedication to customer service.

Disliked: This proprty is linked with another hostel very close by called Oresti hostel. Although we had booked to stay at Loreni we ended up at Oresti but it wasn't really too much of an issue and was only about 2 mins by foot further away from the centre

Liked: It´s very nice and clean and location is great, in the quite street in the center of city, really close to everything, no need for car or taxi. And the guy who runs it is awesome. I definitely recommend this place.

Disliked: My friends complained because of non-smoking balcony, but that was ok for me.

Liked: The location is great, and the owner is super friendly and helpful. It isn't really a hostel, there are no common areas or anything, but the rooms are clean and secure

Disliked: Nothing, for what we wanted it was great. The breakfast wasn't great though.

Liked: The staff at the hostel could not be more helpful. They even gave me their mobile (cell) number so that I could contact them 24 hours if i needed anything. Good English is spoken. Very clean. Would certainly recommend this to others and would stay here again if I went back to Tirana.

Disliked: David left no negative feedback.
