Liked: Clean and nicely located but more like a hotel than a hostel. A bit of arguing for price. 12 Euro on internet, 15 once there.

Liked: Family-run hostel with the staff being some of the most friendly and genuinely helpful people I have encountered on my travels. Highly recommend. Freddy is a fantastic guy.

Liked: Freddy and his Nephew were beyond helpful which made our stay a pleasure. In addition we were able to explore a lot more of the city than we thought possible in only a day and a helf with their help. Thanks.

Liked: The owner, Frdddy, is very firendly and personable, rooms are clean and spacious, with much-appreciated air-conditioning! Free internet access is good too and it's a nice neighborhood.

Liked: Freddy's Hostel is clean and safe, well located, 5 minutes walk from the centre of Tirana. Free internet and wi-fi too. You have limited choice of budget places to stay and for this reason, I reccomend it.However, you need to be careful about prices in Tirana. Considering the fact that Albania is one of the poorest countries in Europe and knowing the real cost of living there, I would say 16 euro is overpriced. Also, you should know that a taxi from the airport is 10 euro and loca taxis around town are 300-400 lek which is about 3 euro. Bear this in mind when being offered a service.'Breakfast' is an expresso coffee and a cheap cake. You would think they could offer more or at least some form of choice.

Liked: Well placed in centre of Tirana. Rooms serviced every day. Seemed secure. Freedom to come and go as you liked. Very clean and very good value. Able to leave luggage free on last day before flying back.

Liked: Freddy is an amazing guy. The staff is very friendly, but I didn't meet with a staff member who can speak English except Freddy :) but they always smile at you, try to understand what you say and do exactly what you want. I arrived Tirana at 5 am but they gave me a private room to sleep and take a bath. The hostel located in the heart of the city. Tirana is a great place to explore and this is a great and cheap hostel to stay!!

Liked: this is a fantastic hostel, really great location close to most things. the staff are amazingly helpful and even drove us around to try and find the furgon we needed. def recommended!!

Liked: Exceptionally clean. Freddy was vey helpful in answering questions. He took us for coffee and we met his brother and nephew. It was the kind of experience we were looking for.

Liked: The room was lovely, brand new and more like an apartment room with ensuite, we hired private room. The staff were so lovely, breakfast dropped to our door and transfer organised to take us where we wanted to go the next day. Awesome place to stay, would definitely recommend.

Liked: Freddy is great! Very friendly and helpful, he even dropped us off at the airport on the way to the beach with his family. Would definitely recommend this hostel for anyone traveling to Tirana.

Liked: Well, Tirana was an interesting place to visit. The people were so nice and welcoming. Strangers would talk to us, and some guy at a restaurant helped us to translate the menu even though he did not work there. The people who owned the hostel were also really nice. The room was a lot nicer than I was expecting. Overall, if you are planning to visit Tirana this would be a good place to stay
