Liked: Large room for a low price for Western standards. The owner of the hostel may be right in arranging a good price for a taxi ride airport-hostel

Liked: It was good, Freddy was lovely & very helpful. Direction to get there were EXCELLENT! & well sign posted. Reasonably central to everything.

Liked: Large double rooms, A/C, next to the center.

Disliked: very small breakfast (one shot of expresso and one little cake), the cleaning lady was very intrusive (she knocked the door very early and entered various times when we were still the room).

Liked: The hostel is pretty fine located but facilities are quite limited. Freddy is the only one who can speak English, which makes it in case of questions not easy. Private rooms are actually apartments located in the same street as the hostel. It sounds great, but in the apartments is no internet access available. So if you would like to use internet during your stay, make sure that you book a room within the hostel building. The breakfast was basic, but OK.

Liked: Freddy and mini-Freddy (who looked like Tim Henman) were excellent. They were very welcoming and even let us choose our room after showing us around all the rooms. Freddy also arranged a taxi from his hostel to Bar (in Montenegro) which saved us time getting buses, delays at border control and buses in Montenegro which would have been very slow due to narrow roads (total cost 90Euro). EXCELLENT HOSTEL AND TOP BLOKE !!!

Liked: Freddy is a really nice guy. The place is clean and the room was huge with TV and a PC inside the room! Looks a little bit like an Hotel (which makes it difficult to meet people though). No more than a 5 minute walk to Skanderberg Square. Overall, a good place to stay in Tirana.

Liked: Only Freddy speaks English and he is only their at night. The rest of the time their is noone to answer questions inless you speak Albanian.It is very much a hotel with three beds in one room which you share with other people. Their is only one key to each room though. And one in the office that anyone can get access to.

Liked: Can only recommed stay at Freddy's! Very very clean, shower in the room, no bunk beds!, daily changed linen, towel provided, wifi internet; easy to find, perfect location - 1 minute walk to main street, 5 minutes to main square, app. 5 minutes to train station/bus station. Only downside was no heater in the room (it was already a bit cold in the night).

Liked: Location and cleanliness.What didn't I like about the property? The fact that the only English speaking member of staff was away, making getting my room difficult. There was also some sort of error, as I was moved room for my second night, and the lack of communication meant I didn't have the information I wanted on getting out of Tirana.

Liked: Nice large comfortable room in new apartment block. which was cleaned daily. A pity there was no cooking facilties at the hostels.

Liked: Centrally located and close to any other resources you require, including supermarket, food and coffee shops Freddy is helpful and will answer any questions you require. The only 'issue' is that the Wi-fi was extremely slow and would drop out every five minutes, but there are two really cheap internet cafes within a five minute walk to Freddy's. Definitely recommended

Liked: Freddy and his gorgeous nephew were so lovely! They were always there to offer help and advice and organise taxis. The room was lovely, large and clean with good air con and a TV with the odd movie in English. There's a lovely restaurant around the corner called London with some amazing veal.
