Customer Travel Tip: Kick back, relax, stroll the ghats, enjoy the many rooftop restaurants, smile and laugh with the baba's. Pushkar, the holy land by the lake, is a great place to be!

Liked: I loved the traveler atmosphere and the amazing baba's and locals. They love to tell you about Hindu tradition. The shopping was amazing. We purchased many goods for relatively cheap.

Disliked: The shopkeepers were very pushy. I think they need to begin to realize that they might actually get more business if they were less pushy. I understand sales very well. These business men need to calm down and personify Pushkar as a chill relaxing place. Don't push and they will come in spades!

Customer Travel Tip: Go there during the Pushkar mela only which happens once a year for 11 days. The rest of the year it's very quiet, one might get bored with too much quietness!

Liked: The ghats! I loved sitting there at any time of the day. It's serene and soothing. The spiritual experience takes over and makes one feel so relaxed and light :)

Disliked: A few shopkeepers have been very rude to some people clicking photos of their shops and products. I feel it's useless and very rude on their part. A photographer like me would certainly feel disheartened bad for this.
