Calle Ocho - USA

March in Miami means Calle Ocho, the prize event of the Miami Carnival. Attracting over a million people from all over the world, it’s a huge street party that stretches over 23 blocks of the city's district of Little Havana.
Three areas are set up, the first of which comprises a KidzZone with entertainment for youngsters including clowns, food and magicians.
Then there’s the Parranda Zone involving street dancers and strolling musicians walking among the public to create a carnival atmosphere. And lastly there's the music area, which is what Calle Ocho is renowned for.
Top recording artists and groups from the world of Hispanic entertainment perform across the musical stages set up literally everywhere. Food and drink is also plentiful and stalls dotted all around the streets selling everything from ice cream to international fare.
