Things to Do in Ibiza

Ibiza is one of the centers of the clubbing universe. Ibiza Town is full of trendy clubs and hip terrace bars playing only the very best music. Across the island, the infamous resort of San Antonio has a slightly more robust drinking scene.

You don’t have to put up with the crowds and expensive drinks prizes of the terrace bars to catch a sunset. With a car or a moped, you can get out to a little place in the middle of nowhere or a hidden cove… Not that it matters, of course – the sunsets in Ibiza are spectacular wherever you are.

Although Ibiza has a couple of fantastically popular beaches, the north coast of the island in particular also has any number of tiny bays and secluded inlets that you can scramble down to.

Every Wednesday, on the road between Santa Eulalia and Escana, the island’s well-known Hippy Market opens for business. In among the stalls selling anything from handbags to local handicrafts, there's a host of musicians, dancers and entertainers.

While only a half hour ferry journey from the main island, Formentera has an entirely different vibe. Its sleepy villages and quiet beaches are a brief respite from Ibiza’s more hectic charms.
