Lisbon's Historic Trams
Getting from the airport into Lisbon is refreshingly simple: you just take the AeroBus, which runs every 20 minutes from 7:45am to 8:45pm. The journey to Cais do Sodre is roughly 35 minutes.
Once in the city, the best way of getting around – as is so often the case – is on foot. For longer journeys, you can buy very cheap one or three day bus and train passes. These can be purchased at the various travel kiosks around the city or from the ICEP tourist office.
Another saver option is the Passe Turistico which is valid for trams, buses and the metro, with prices depending on how many days it lasts. Buses and trams run from 6am to 1am with some additional night bus options helping you get back to your hostel after a night on the town.
