Oslo city center is easily accessible from the Gardemoen Airport via the quick FlyToGet train which takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you’ve arrived in Oslo, the well-organized and transport-wise city continues to make getting around simple and convenient.
Trains from Gothenburg run to Oslo Central Station (Oslo Sentralstasjon) three times a day and there are also several departures a day to Copenhagen, Trondheim and Stockholm. It’s a good idea, however, to reserve a seat in advance on these popular routes.
Oslo is spread out over a wide area but, fortunately, has a far-reaching bus, tram and metro (known as the T-Bane) network that all complement each other perfectly. Tickets are valid for all services.
The city’s transport center (where you can buy tickets and get information) is called Trafikanten and is located near Oslo Central Station.
