There are several ways to get to the city center from Casablanca’s Mohammed V Airport. It’s best to avoid driving yourself - as it can be incredibly confusing - but its easy to take a taxi from the rank outside the arrivals hall.
Alternatively, shuttle buses run frequently from the airport to specific locations around the city. There are also trains in the arrivals hall that will bring you into Casablanca Port or the city center. Casablanca has a decent public bus service although taxis are often actually cheaper (unless you’re traveling alone). 'Petit taxis' are the least expensive as they all charge by a meter.
However, they can only fit three people in a car at one time and so if there are more people in your group, a 'Grand Taxi' is your best option. They will often squeeze in as many passengers as can fit. Taxi fares vary depending on the time of day and a 10% tip is generally expected by the driver.
Casablanca has two major train stations: Casa Voyageurs and Casa Porta, with most services arriving into Casa Voyageurs. Travelers then have to take another train to get to Casa Porta and the city center.
