Things to Do in Nadi

Want to know some of the standout things to do in Nadi? Then have a look through our handpicked suggestions below...

1. Join the Pilgrims at the Sri Siva Subramaniya Temple

This magnificent building is the largest Hindu temple in the Southern Hemisphere. It houses sacred Indian statues and welcomes pilgrims and tourists alike.

2. Surf’s Up!

You’re in Fiji – it’s practically compulsory! With some of the best surf going, grab your board and hit the waves. Denerau Beach is close by and offers small waves and a more relaxed atmosphere. Slightly further away (about an hour’s drive), Lulu’s Bend and the Sigatoka River Bend cater for the hardier surfers.

3. The Curry Challenge

Get ready to singe your taste-buds. Nadi’s street stalls offer a tasty but ferocious goat curry served with steaming roti. Remember, the best way to counteract spice is to have a beer on the side – so Fiji’s local brews make a great accompaniment!

4.Explore the Countryside

Head inland and hike up the surrounding mountings. It’s not too strenuous and you're rewarded with a view of the lush landscape dotted with sugar cane plantations.

5. Island-Hop

There are a bunch of islands just a quick boat ride from Nadi. They cater for all desires – from hedonism to relaxation – and also offer some of the best snorkeling around. To get started, check out Beachcomber Island, Castaway Island and Daydream Island.
