1. The Jagala Falls
Estonia's greatest waterfall has been dubbed "the Niagara Falls of Eastern Europe". Although, the country's highest waterfall (at 30.5 meters from ground level) is actually the Valaste Falls, Jagala is the most powerful and makes for the most impressive spectacle.
2. The Art Museum of Estonia
Founded in November 1919, the museum has a colorful history: it had a number of temporary homes before reclaiming the Baroque palace in 1946 after Soviet bombings of the previous site. It has recently been restored to its original glory.
3. The Tannenberg Line
These battle grounds were amongst the most important in Eastern Europe. In 1944, after a six-month battle with SS forces in which both sides suffered many casualties, Soviet troops finally emerged victorious.
4. The Baltic Clint
The highest and longest continuous seaside cliff in the Baltic countries, there's an absolutely stunning view out over the ocean from the main terrace (which reaches 56 meters above sea level).
5. Narva Castle
Dating from the 13th century, Narva Castle is one of the country's oldest and largest fortifications. Originally built by the Danes, its Long Hermann Tower remains an imposing spectacle.
