Getting Around Adelaide: Transport Tips and Advice

Transport in Adelaide

On landing in Adelaide, a special airport transfer bus departs every half an hour from both terminals for about half the price of a taxi.

The transport system makes Adelaide an easily accessible city. You can hop on and off the free yellow trams (Bee Line or the City Loop Buses) between the main attractions in the city center. For more specific routes, public buses are your best option. As in most cities, day passes are a cheaper option than paying for lots of single journeys. The Alltimes Multitrip ticket is a good deal: 10 tickets valid for two hours each.

An interesting way to get around is with the City Bike Scheme which was introduced as part of the City Council’s plan to make Adelaide a greener place.
