1. The Monasteries of Haghpat and Sanahin, Lorri Region
Right across Armenia, the country is dotted with countless ancient monasteries. But the two UNESCO protected Byzantine monasteries of Haghpat and Sanahin are surely the most remarkable.
2. Anapat Cave, Yenokavan Canyon

4. The Genocide Memorial and Museum, Tsitsenakaberd Park
The memorial is made up of 12 stone blocks representing the 12 provincial regions of Armenia involved in the Turkish genocide of 1915. The museum offers guided tours that provide additional commentary on its four permanent exhibition rooms.
