Carvoeiro town is a pleasant resort on the Algrave coast, a former fishing village with a long beach and a pretty bay. Boat trips to neighboring caves and deserted beaches make a great day trip from the harbour, and the larger resorts of Albufeira and Portimao are within easy reach.
